Yes but ONLY with separate keys cause if my memory serves me correctly steam will ONLY allow one activation per product key.

If you tried to play multiplayer on two machines with the same key. they will probably void the key and you would be with out. That is why the deal on multi keys.

So do that at your own risk. And the server guy will know, so I just wont do it.

Thank you.

Well, it's only 16.00 right now so money for it is no biggie. If you had an extra 16.00 would you go for it? Thanks for all your help!

Steam app licenses are per-account, not per-machine. As such, you can install GameGuru or any other Steam app you own on as many machines as you wish with a single license by logging into the same account through Steam. But, only a single instance can be running at a time. So if you want to test multiplayer via LAN you'll need two keys and likely two Steam accounts, since you cannot generally activate two copies of the same app with the same account.

Thanks for all the help guys! I'm not too worried about multiplayer as one computer is a half hour drive from the second computer. I think after all this I'll stick to one license. Whew, glad I got that figured out. Thanks again!

Steam even offers a friends and family feature so you can play their games also. Not the easiest to setup, I gave up quite quickly, as I wasn't that fussed. Same applies only one user at a time.

I did notice on the steam page TGC sell double packs etc for anyone thinking of a team working on something. Or just for several friends to be able to play mult-iplayer.

The four pack deal is ridiculously good value, works out as just over a fiver each if you get 3 friends to club together.
