How high is the sky?

I know the x and z values of the basic terrain map are approx 51K x 51K units. However, the sky (y) values seem strange.

I took one of my own models which is preset to be 24 units above the ground level and placed on a flat terrain. Once placed I looked at the Y value and it was 632??

Either the Y is using a different unit system, or my model should be well above the ground, which it is not.

So what is the maximum height to the edge of the skybox, and what measurement system is being used???

Thanks smallg

I kinda thought that about the water level, but was not sure. Still, if you dig down to water it does seem to be 600 units down??

Still wondering if the "Y" units are different than the x/z units? and I need to know the maximum Y height? Does anyone have this info?

seems to be 999900 (could be slightly more/less) after around that value it'll stop working even if always active (can't seem to get an exact value)
makes sense though as i would assume the world is square so probably a 100k x 100k
