I like the idea of auto up-dates through Steam, rather then starting over as we did with the Reloaded updates.

That said, will be be informed about these up-dates? When there are major version up-dates (1.01 to 1.02 etc), will we be informed of the changes as we have in the past? If so, where should we look for this information?

OK, I do not intend this to be negative, but I have this comment...

Given the pace of up-dates during the Reloaded days, and given the many many many additions and improvements that are needed, is a target of having the first non-beta "Full Build" completed by this coming November realistic? Even if this is achieved, will the design team continue to improve GG after that point, particularly as it relates to game formats that go beyond 1st person shooter?

Steam let's you know that it's updating as you launch a piece of software, and it also gives a link to an update explanation (if there is one) when it's done, before you "Play Game"

Back on your point go devel:

There were updates coming out quite frequently, but to much unproductive feed back on partial feature were given.

So most everyone thought it best, that they did not do that. and waited for the feature being added to be more developed before releasing them to us for testing.

The problem with us, is we all wanted to make games, no help in development. So it got to be very non productive. And that's why that stopped.

They are getting things in place to be able to read these things and projected dates. But they cant be taken as that is exactly when that feature will be in the update.

Things like companies driver updates and even windows updates, change the way everything works down the line.
That is what beta testing was supposed to be for.

Thanks for the comments, and Jerry thank you always, as you seem to save my bacon, when I get swamped.
