WIP


What is PredicateC?
It is a small application from myself to convert fpsc Classic fpe to new one which can be used in GameGuru

Why this name?
I am lazy and it should make no sense at all.

What is needed?
Newest Java IDE https://www.java.com/en/download/
or use
exe version with j4launch

What program parts it have?
FPE Converter
FPE Restorer
FPE BackUp Deleter

What is planed?
Weapon Converter (soon)(Outsourced version first)
FPE Creator (soon)(I will outsource this maybe)

Tried this program out over the last weekend and it worked great converting my Classic Entity's to new FPE files. Very straight forward and easy to use. Thanks for letting me test this out.

Can you upload a video to the demonstration ?

For me, nothing happens when I push my old " FPSC " files in the folder .

You must start the aplication and press convert after you push your files in the folder. There is no automatic detection.
A video is not possible cause I recreate the UI at the moment and add some files, so in some days this video would be outdated....

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Corno_1 It was more difficult to log in to thank you than it is to use Predicate C. What a time saver and so far all models I have tried work.

A new version is ready for the release, but before release I must write a manual. I hope I can do this soon.

New Features in 0.6:
Complete redone UI
Fix some Bugs which came from rename the programm to predicateC
Add a default static option which makes all objects static
Add the UI for Fpe Creator/Weapon Converter(not implemented)
Create a exe with j4launch for everbody who not want to install java

Wait for the update

If you use the exe version, post if everything works. It is virus negative tested with https://www.virustotal.com/de/ cause even my antivir program does not like the exe version.

If you download a bugged, old version and not answer on my PM for bug fixing, I can not do anything for you. This did also all others before you, with some exceptions where I can help. I tested it again and again and everythings work how it should, exept the weapon converter and the fpe creator which are not implemented yet.

I hope this clears everything up.

This works good for my friend. He used some files from my fpsc classic an they went in.
Something you need to add is the collision mode.

Weapons and animated stuff will have to be learned. If there was an easy way to do it, then it would be in here already.

There are rigging issues that have to be dealt with and a one button solution is not the best option for them as of now.

Plus learning a little theory, wont hurt you at all.

sorry but there will be no converter in near time. I talked to errantAI about weapons and he said , you must manually set a lot of things for each weapon different. So there is no standart way and also no progamm which could do it. I tried, I failed.

But you could do this:
copy and paste the gun you want in the gamecore/guns folder in GG, after that copy and paste the entity filed gun.x,gun.fpe,gun.dds and so on in the entity folder.
step 2: go into gun.fpe and set aimain=weapon.fpi to aimain=weapon.lua
step 3:
Not there is the task I cant programm. You must manually fix the gunspect, cause some values are not the same in FPSC and GG.

I work on a different programm at the moment for non scripters and this needs my full attention. But if you find a bug, I will fix it. The programm is not unsupportet

About failed, well, no so sure about that, just the fact than there are almost nothing easy to standarized atm in GG.

About the other project, I'm sure it can be very useful for non scripters and n00bs like me.
I can cross rivers of lava, thank to you.

Or you have to put everything else(.x, bmp, dds..)

If you were a pledger back in the day on a different account. Check the TGC account page for that profile. You probably have some steam keys there.

It only opens the fpe files, so you can place all files or just the fpe files.

No, it just converts static entities and dynamic entities with default scripts. Sorry no weapons and characters are supported. Also some animated entites can not work....
