Not sure if this post goes here but here it is anyways,

Spent 11 hours working on building a test level yesterday
Just started up GameGuru now and low and behold it has
stopped working to the point that I can not do a thing
with it.

As you can see from the video below



Any ideas how to fix this so I do not loose my work again?

Just noticed this in changelog ( Steam Applied Update )

V1.00.012 :

* Fixed the slowdown that would occur in the GameGuru editor if running in Steam Offline mode
* When the host of a Multiplayer game leaves the game, a game over message is sent for clarity, rather than lost connection
* Changed the status bar in the editor to report if there are multiplayer lobbies open to join
* Fixed a crash issue

There was a new build last night but Steam did have their own problems which caused issues with the download for some.
Im guessing its what your experiencing and I did have it myself.

I just used Add / Remove programs to uninstall and went to steam and clicked "install" again
I did not backup my files and it went smooth as silk..5 to 10 mins ...nothing lost ...

But having spent hours on your map you may feel better backing up your files directory.

Saved by Steam! Steam will check the integrity of your install. In this case Steam found 174 files that no longer matched theirs. Two minutes later, I had a working GameGuru.

If you go to your Steam Library, right click on GameGuru and select properties, the popup's bottom button will be "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache"

That may fix some peoples problems.

That was my first try myself without success

However the Re-install sorted it so recommended what worked for me

Store items Download from Editor still not working via steam.

How can I do this re-install from steam ?!?

Ok its easy

You need to install steam and run it from your desktop...You will see the menu on the top left of your screen
Pic below shows what you should see.............. Steam / View /Friends / Games / Help..
Select "Games" Then Select " Activate a product on steam "
