I believe that is hard coded and cannot be changed.

Any game that is out has its engine company on it and sponsers and what ever else. I believe this is standard.

But I will pass this to the developers for the thoughts and report back.

I am not saying it cant Happen.
But if you create a killer game, and sell copies and get good reviews, then GameGuru should have the engine listed as it is. They technically help and are not charging royalties for your sales. It is the least that they are requiring.

This may change, But that I can not promise.

Don't you mean AREN'T charging royalties? I think you got your point across, though!

the watermark is part of the agreement, you aren't allowed to release a game without it, you can change the screens and such though if you check the titlesbank folders but you still agreed to show the watermark so better make sure it's still there

I feel like Game Guru needs some easier way to add your own graphics than titlesbank (I hope they will implement this in future version)
Also, I want to show that the game was made by game guru, but also some of my splash screens would be nice.

Where exactly is this stated? I can't even locate the license agreement in GameGuru as installed via Steam, but don't recall the one from Reloaded ever mentioning this detail.

perhaps that got removed since steam, i'm 90% sure it was originally part of the alpha/beta testing but i don't see it on steam and can no longer find it here so i would guess it no longer applies, nice spot

I don't mind showing that my game was made with GameGuru but that water mark is really kind of big and to me it doesn't
scream professional engine. why not have just a small logo image like Nvidia or CryEngine or Unreal's fancy circle with a "U"
in it. and have it in the lower right corner of the title page or like some old Genesis Engine games where it was opague in the
game view. I think that would be more professional than a big screen that says Easy GameMaker. It would be more attractive to
new developers as well. after all, is this software just for kids? or is it for the serious Indie Developer also?

here's a little logo I threw together just to get a mental image. I think TGC should come up with something like this.

sure, all I did was take an image from one of the muzzleflashes as a background, buttonize it and paste a bullet on and text.
use it if you like.

it litterally took less than a minute to come up with, but looking at it now, it does have some charm to it.
