So i'm not all that familiar with LUA Scripting but I'm wondering if it'd be possible to build a script to use in this for added Controller Support in our games. Sure keyboard and mouse is useful but having the option to choose a controller where available depending on the game just makes it all that much better.

Any ideas anyone?

In the meantime though...I'm going to dig around some more to see if I can find a way to make this happen.

My bad. Controller support instead of a mouse. My bad. I am sorry.

Hello Deygus, I may have a fix for your controller needs. It is a program called Xpadder, it allows you to map keys to your controller, this could be a temporary fix. http://www.xpadder.com/

Let me know how this goes, and/or if you need any more help.

Xpadder Features:
- Play PC games with poor or no gamepad support
- Add gamepad support to emulated, internet browser and DOS games
- Play multiplayer games with each player using a gamepad
- Control video/music players using their shortcut keys
- Use your gamepad with any Windows program

Thanks,
Shawn

Try pinnacle game profiler, that will work with anything not controller enabled.

Xpadder is actually pretty great. I used to use it a lot with FPSC Classic actually.

Hello Deygus, If you do happen to try out the program let me know how it goes, and if you can get it to work, I might then be able to assist more user's that would like to use Xpadder.

Thanks,
Shawn

Yeah Sure, I'll try it out and even share the profile file for it.

It's just gonna take me a little bit of time to map all the keys properly for a good set up but I believe it may be a good solution for the time being.

Okay so I tried it out just now and it works decently.

Also, it's not really a good idea for building the game obviously. It's possible but not really ideal.

Anyhow, I've attached the files for both the Default GameGuru Control Scheme which is seen when you play the game for it. I have also attached the Xbox 360 for Windows Controller Scheme that I use if you want to use it as well. I have mapped them both as best I could with what I felt was comfortable to use for now. The mouse speed for movement is set to 130.

They are both FREE TO USE with my permission and you are more than welcome to modify it more to your liking if you wish.
