Hi there! As promised i purchased gameguru as soon as it came out on steam !

However my first time launching the program it kept freezing and i got the error *enhanced runtime error* or something like that

The error box itself just said *2* and only gave me the OK option.

Later i found out my antivirus/antispyware Ad-aware was detecting some of the files to do with sound as a treath and deleting them.

I managed to get Gameguru working by disabeling the antivirus but that is not a thing one should do all that often :/.

Can we get this fixed in one of the next updates since it seems to be quite a big problem :I?

Thanks for reading !

do you tried Game Mode ?
Since it is Real-Time Protection, maybe you shall to create rules for GG.
I am not familiar with it, I use another one, and I have not any issue with GG.

Hi,

I had the same JeliLiam's problem when running GameGuru for the first time and every time you need use it after the install. This infection warning was present with former FPSCR 1.010 and was shipped to GameGuru now.

My software is the Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Emsisoft Internet Security.

I don't know if this is an actual threat or false-positive warning, but should be verified if possible. It's very annoying every time you need to run the GG, need to turn off the antivirus program.

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp\dppdata\dbprosounddebug.dll

Infection: Gen:Variant.Kazy.28347 (B) risk grade: High

Cheers,
Northern
