Multiplayer / Using multi-player function to build levels & games

I was just wondering if would be be possible to use the multi-player function eventually to help each other to build levels and games?


PC - Windows 7 64bit, Intel i5, 12Gb Ram, 1TB WD Black, Evga Gefore 760gtx 2GB

Hi E30Legend,

Being able to work on collaborative projects with GameGuru is not currently possible due to the media being encrypted to protect the assets.

You can of course save out the map files (.fpm) and email those or upload them to your preferred file hosting service and collaborate that way.

As you know, GameGuru is a community lead project, so, if a feature is requested enough, it will surely happen.

The upcoming FPS game Reflex (I backed it as an early release on Steam) is excellent at doing just that. It allows multiple players to edit a map in real-time collaboratively. A very cool feature! In GameGuru I could see this as a possibility as you can already edit your own map while playing it in first person view--so that functionality would have to carry over to the multiplayer mode and then the changes would have to syncronize within the map editor once exited. Probably a lot of work by the developers but is awesome if done right. Here's a video (Skip to about 4:25 for better demonstration):
