Hi,

For those with early Steam keys we'll be hosting some more multiplayer sessions today once we have fixed some key issues found over the weekend.

Session 1: 7pm GMT

Session 2: 12 midnight GMT

We hope to see you in the arena!

EDIT: Actually, last night I was practicing hosting my own. Of course, I was wandering the level by myself, but I just wanted to see what would happen. I even tried a couple levels that were not meant to be multiplayer. I kept spawning outside the game area, (like me, Lee and Johnny Cash did in the asylum) so I added a multiplayer start marker inside the game area. When I did this, Steam said my level included custom content and insisted I join Steam workshop or something to that effect. I stopped at that point because I didn't know what would happen if I allowed that.

Just do it It will upload all media which is not included in standart game guru so other can play your map without having your assets
This is all encypted so nothing to worry about

I am not in, sorry, but I had a lot of fun with you friday and saturday.
My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Thanks, Corno_1! I thought that was probably the case, but I thought it best to wait to find out for sure. I didn't want to be accused of handing out stuff that wasn't mine to give!

But seriously, I am awful at multiplayer.

EDIT - I will be recording the gameplay tonight, so, can people try not to embarrass me too much.

Haven't really been seeing any lobbies. THere was one with Thom but it was only him and I. Will a lobby not dhow if match is in progress?

yes same here I got into a lobby with Jay but then it disappeared... then one with Rick then it disappeared..

Your clicking "Join Lobby " ye
then you appear in the list and wait till the host loads the match ....
You have to be quick...8 players and its gone..

You will then have to wait till they finish and go back to the lobby for a new map
Like I am now...Sigh ..

yeah I am sitting here waiting while the list says 0 found. There needs to be queing and lobby chat or a way to tell you are not all alone. If anyone wants to host, I will join. I am testing cheats exploits. For science.

Yes I was player 2 in Jays lobby then player 4 in Ricks then we crashed...
I must have taken too long to get the new update working...

but should there not be a list of lobbies even if they are already running a game..
It would be nice to see that there was someone there playing... even if we cannot join them..

Was able to run some tests. Enough to know there are serious issues to address. Rick says they will be sorted after launch. Hopefully it will be soon after launch since zero reassurance of fairness more or less cancels out the multiplayer competitive experience.

Thanks Thom for giving me lessons in how to die... many ways.. many times...
never killed him once .. only saw him 4 times... in about 10 kills.. I lost count..
Well Hosting was really straightforward and it ran very smooth my end...

no crashes this time .. good work Lee..

To answer the previous questions.

There will be a lobby chat added soon, it is on the list.

Once the game starts lobbies are not visible, but there is a plan to allow joining after a round starts.

Can anyone enlighten me ?

Played a couple of matches ... then loaded the bridge battle ( which I got a server disconnect on awaiting players ) then nothing ?
waited nearly an hour for Another lobby... Reloaded GameGuru just in case....

Was the error my end or had you all gone to do some fixes ?

I didn't get home 'til 45 minutes after tonight's fun began (12:45 GMT, 5:45 my time, whatever that is). I had hoped there would still be something going on, but I logged on and waited for a lobby to pop up for about 10 minutes, but nothing happened.
