Quote: "if i read the script it hides the center piece, but you have to set the number also..
this line:

+ Code Snippet
1 -- nb: enter the astragate_center's 'e' number below too!
2
3 local astragate_center_e = 3  "

what does this mean? I don't know about scripts. sorry.

oke,
on a new map empty.
Place first the outerring(not animated.
Then place the middle ring(animated) with this script: name the script astragate.lua

then place the center piece, this is gonna be the 3 entity.( so the 3 in the script indicated the 3 placed entity)
with this script: named the script stargate_center

the main code astragte.lua, have these lines:
local astragate_center_e = 3 (the 3 is the enity number in the editor)

i hope this helps a bit
edit:

a video of the basic setup: this without the dialer.. so when i also figured out that part i let you know

Can someone get away with using the Astragate in a game commercially?
I could probably make a texture for it that gives it non stargate symbols and a different material look, but with the locks, everything about is shaped like that show. Still if it was generic enough, it could be considered "Pop Culture Reference," couldn't it?

If you don't use the same symbols and perhaps change the color of the glow and of course don't use sounds from the movie / series, you are good.

well, no, just a jet. it will be static so it don't need to be animated of any sort. I tried to get my own but im not that good at 3d... and even when I get a decent model the texturing always gets me and i don't even know how to shadow. lol, for laughs you can look at my jet.

This Time as Freebie, a windturbine animated and with explosion.
i als included the cool scripts, made by smallg.
thanks for that...
see video how to use..
as for a bomb the entity needs to be dynamic and attached the script wind_turbine_bomb.lua
and give the other script to the windturbine...
and have explosion fun...

Hey HarryWever epic I must say!

If you are still up for requests a bank bank would be epic, with doors static open and halfbroken windows (so you can shoot from inside)
It could be only a front, then the game creators could build there own inside/back ?
Some ideas of a bank bank:

I would surgest it for the store if combersome.
Thanks in advance
