The new forum structure is OK, but you need a return to home button at the bottom. Right now, getting back to the top of 80 posts is a pain

Thanks

Also after adding a post you are taken right back to the first post instead of staying at the post you've just added.

Will all functionality be eventually restored or will there ultimately be some changes? I figure all the issues are known and I don't want to be Captain Obvious.

On a side note, will you be adding a Steam button for people to link their profiles- if they wish?

I aim to restore most of the old forums functionality, most of it is already back. Some options have been removed and won't come back. There will be Steam integration with these new forums, I hope to enable linking your Steam account and allow login via Steam for those new Steam users.

If anyone spots something they think I may have missed when adding things back in just let me know and I will get right on it, it is easy to miss things from the old forums.

Cool. Steam login seems like a pretty good idea since a lot of people don't like to make new accounts.

The post previews and store catalog links seem to be the biggest missing things at the moment. Emoticons too I suppose. Seems like there used to also be something to see a person's post (maybe it was just thread creation) history.

Another annoying issue at the moment is that if a thread is more than 2 pages long, there's no way to skip to the last page.

For example, if a thread has four pages, It's just like: 1,2 when one would expect it to be like 1,2..4 if you know what I mean.

Will the option to hide banners be restored or is it a thing of the past?

I find that annoying also, I have it on my list to add a go to last button

If you mean to hide signatures yes that will return.
