Something I have been meaning to do for a while now but have only just started, an English Electricity Pylon.

I will adding other items as I go, the next item will be a Power Sub Station and then possibly a Transmission Sub Station and Power Plant.

I will be making a couple of Sub Stations. One will be a small one so that it can be used to connect up the Pylons and enable them to turn a corner and the other a larger one that could be used to power a town.

First Image:

This is made up of two entities the Power Lines and the Pylon. I did this to try and keep the poly's down.

HP Pavilion Laptop, AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon(tm) Graphics HD Graphics 1.6GHz, 8GB Memory, 64 Bit Operating System (Windows 8.1), 1 TB Hard Drive.

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.

Getting there I now have 2 more Pylon's that will step down to a sub station.

A bit more work is needed on them yet. But the way they look in Reloaded I think they will be great for the background and maybe when the sub station is finished the foreground.

This looks really good, could be a nice background filler asset. With them being two seperate entities, do you find them hard to place together? Or does snap work well?

Thanks teamhalo, I made them so that they snap together. I also have it so that when the wires are placed, the "center" is at the end if you know what I mean. This then enabled me to zoom in tight when placing them to make sure that they are in the correct position.

Almost there, just need to do a bit more wiring for the Substation and it will be done.

That's it the Pylon Entities are finished and in the store. I have a couple more items that are for the Substation to finish that will be sold singly . but the rest are going in a 'Power Pack' Only $4.

You can see it here: http://en.tgcstore.net/?md=view-pack&pid=10513
