My new laptop came today with Win8.1 64bit installed, i've installed Reloaded to the default directory but when I open Taskmanager its saying its running 32bit version, so my question is how do I install it so it will run in 64bit??? I know this is most likely reaslly easy to do but its my first ever computer with a 64bit OS lol

It can't and won't it is a 32bit application and built on that structure perhaps in a good few years they will take reloaded to 64bit.

I just got all excited when ver109 came out and lee had increased the memory cap to 4gb for 64bit users, and thought I needed to run it as 64bit. Now I feel stupid!!!! lol

To create a 32 bit application, the IDE has to be in and compile to 32 bit. Likewise, when creating a 64 bit application, the IDE has compile to 64 bit.

64 bit would allow for more memory usage, but I'm not sure if 64 bit would give you more graphics performance - plus there may not be 64 bit drivers for all graphics cards yet.

64 bit machines will use 4gb of memory, but because a large number of our users still use 32bit machine, we will continue to support that for awhile to come yet.

They can use way more than 4gb with 64 bit - terabytes of ram if available and if motherboards could support it without blazing on fire (lol).
