Double check the name and the file path - 99% sure that's the problem. If that doesn't work, use the Reloaded importer, click on the chequered box on the left and choose the texture.

Do you have your DDS files named like so:

Object_D.DDS
Object_N.DDS
Object_S.DDS

You must have all textures in the model in the root of the folder it's in. I believe it must be multi-textured and not one atlas texture, but I could be wrong.

I have successfully brought in models as long as they are textured with separate .jpg files and not one overall texture atlas or mtl files.

In theory the model importer should include the texture in the relevant folder, so I'm a bit stumped. Could you post a screenshot of the folder and its contents?

Actually we don't encourage multi-textures, they have a big hit on performance. Until recently we didn't even offer multi-texture support and advise against using anything other than a single altas texture except in a couple of very rare circumstances.

Remember for each texture, a draw call is required, so if a model has 5 textures, it will take 5 time longer to render.

Does the Conkit not use multi-texturing ?

How does that get around the FPS issue.......Or do you have to be just as Careful ?
