Thought it might be time to show some of the projects I have been beavering away at recently.

On the modeling front I have created a bunch of twisted terrain entities for those fantasy and sci fi game creators out there, these work very well with the new lightmapper and will be released to the store soon.

With the new feature loading multiple images and the help of the scripting folks over in the Script board I have the old weather system working in Reloaded. I reckon there will be a particle system for this at some point but this fills the gap till then, it may also prove to be more performance friendly than particles for some highly populated levels so still have its uses.

Light and heavy snow.

Another animated HUD for nightvision, still needs a little work to prevent the HUD being removed before the lighting swaps out, uses a trigger zone for now till we can bind it to a keypress. This will be released as a free store item once completed.

Nightvision.

On another note I was back in the UK for a couple of months and shipped over my toys so I can get back into some music, I know I am not known for my music but was always writing for the band and never had much time to create for games so y'all can expect more of this from me.

I have my first tune written here in the States uploaded to the store 'White Sands' . An Eastern themed piece, you can check it out here

I'm surprised that you're such a fan of the lightmapper, Rolfy. It's brutal with smoothing groups.

Yeah, but it's a new feature which I expect to get better, I judge it on what it is and it will be improved I reckon

Hey rolfy, any news from the weather front?
btw you could add a particle to the hud that simulates cold breath to your snow/ice weather system.

Yeah it is all working fine, just waiting for the store being made ready to accept the files, will post around here when it's done. I believe the breath was done as a hud overlay for Classic and will come sometime in future

Snow falling without a particle system is awesome, indeed. Great demo scene.

Cheers,
