No point in me going over issues best described in the bugs board, I simply want to show some of the fun I have had messing with v1.009.
Lots of new things to test out and of course some problems but I pledged for Beta's and thats exactly what I get so no complaints from me.
Although there are some bugs still needing squished and it still needs some work to make it just right the new lightmapper and visual tweaks make a huge difference.Anyone familiar with the old masters will appreciate how v1.009 can reproduce their style and Chiaroscuro techniques even this stage.

Many thanks TGC all the testers and especially the dev team for working your butts off to get this out before Christmas.

Return to smugglers cove.

I am simply loving how changing the skybox changes the radiosity colour in the scene.

I have been creating some twisted and complex terrain models and the lightmapper handles these brilliantly.

Using one of Wolf's free models (thanks), retextured a little, to create a moonlit scene.

Simply a nice image.

And of course an indoors scene.

Great screenshots Rolfy, as we've come to expect from you.

We're glad V1.9 is being received well, and we will of course be working on any reported issues first thing in the new year.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

It's fitting that you would pick the Chiaroscuro technique.
They simply look wonderful. Great work. Love the indoor scene

You mentioned "the old masters " Do you mean to say there are others like you?

Return to smugglers cove....

Simply inspirational,.......almost as good as what I can do,.... lol

I must admit I was not too impressed with with v1.009 to start with,.....my old maps look terrible

when loaded up in this new version, but the more I play about with it, the more I like it,.....I love the

new light mapper,....it really brings your scenes to life,....and with that I can now get 50 to 60 fps

even on my low end GT 610 graphics card,.....amazing,.....2015 is going to be good.
