I swear there was a way to view the terrain in wireframe by pressing ctrl or ctrl+ something while in 3d editing mode. I found it to be very useful when sculpting terrain. While it has been many months since I've done any terrain sculpting, I just want to know: Is that function still there? Did I dream that we had that ability or was it perhaps another engine? Am I doing it wrong, if so, how?

It certainly used to be there. Not that I used it myself apart from by mistake sometimes. It seems to have been took out when they added in the undo option. I think it was ctrl before to get it display in wire frame.

I needed the CTRL key so removed this feature. Did not know anyone used it actually, mainly due to it's undocumentedness and the fact it was dog slow. If there are more votes for this, and a suggestion what key it should be on, I can resurrect it for the next public beta.

LOL, I would imagine I was the only one or at most one of just a few that used it! Not a big deal, really, it just helped in seeing the edges when evening them out because sometimes I would lose track of them in the shadows while moving things about. You've got enough on your plate, man!

It had it uses, I still find myself hitting the ctr key for that feature, that is not there anymore. Hopefully Lee has come up with a better solution to ease the placement of objects.
