so when I go to place a bridge that goes over a river, it sets on the terrain, so it is actually under the water seeing how the terrain is lower then the water.

is there a way to manually adjust the position of structures so I can raise the bridge up to where it is supposed to be?

Click on the bridge and then use the PgUp/PgDn keys to raise and lower it into the correct position. Alternatively, right click on the bridge to bring up the properties, which also zooms in on the bridge. When in this mode you can use PgUp/PgDn and arrow keys to position the bridge more precisely.

thank you, I did find my answers, guess I should have searched the forums a little better before asking.

would be nice if it was added to where when you click on a object you could use arrow editing or what ever you call it, like in 3D modelers where you can slide object up down left right or rotate with your cursor on arrows or circles on the object. that would make for a much better fine tuning of the position.

That feature is coming in next release as I understand it.

ive never liked gizmos on models for moving rotating or stuff like that tbh with you all. and I don't think reloaded really needs them.
but hopefully there be a way to turn off the gizmos and use the way reloaded works now which is fine for me just my opinion though lol..

right clicking models and using the fine tuning from there is more than good enough I find.
rotating is easy also currently hold down shift and then tap "R" key to rotate to the position wanted.
and as we only really have a top down view I don't see gizmos working to well, I would of course be happier if the top down view had a tilt view added lol..

Yeah, this is a hándicap, 4 views in editor would be nice an useful, like 3d modeler software does.

I think a widget system is essential. And we have been told that a perspective editing view would be added along with the gizmo system.

@almightyhood, I think you are in a minority when it comes to not wanting this feature. But I don't think they will eliminate the hot keys in use currently so you should be able to operate more or less just as you are today.

hopefully yeah, I have a hard time with gizmos and single axis movement lol, an optional use or don't use would be nice.
