Here's fairly basic shark. I didn't bother with an attack animation, as you die when you go into the water anyway, but there is swimming animation. The script is modified version of a movement script that smallg did - you can make it swim in wider or smaller circles by changing the RotateY figure in the script. Change the MoveForward figure to make it go faster or slower. It follows the ground contours, so you need to make the sea floor level, otherwise it will go up and down like a dolphin. Raise/lower the ground level to move it to the correct height rather than page up or page down. The download link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/661g3ltgd70cdm7/Shark.zip . You can use it for a commercial game, but you can't sell it.

If you call GravityOff(e) then it won't follow the ground and you can have it swim more freely. Nice model, btw.

I've added GravityOff(e) to various places in the script, with physics set to on and off, to no effect. What's the trick?

@TattieBoJangle - thanks, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Watching it swim/fly over my head (I'm testing the gravity) it looked not unlike a great white shark, and quite creepy too. It'll look even better when we can go underwater without dying

I switched off ischaracter to see if that would help, and was treated to the splendid sight of the shark spinning off towards the horizon at high speed, like smallg's turret.

I'm thinking more Far Cry 3, with sharks a-cruisin' in the background.

Never played Far Cry 3, so can only guess I have watched all the Bond movies so know there's certainly a place for sharks in the bad guys repertoire
