Here some ideas for TGC, i hope @leebamber find it useful, at least for the future if not for the current versions
I'm an indie game developer myself, i had tried many 2D/3D game engines at past, and i really love to see FPS Creator Reloaded to become the next big rival with those engines and to compete them, by grabbing the most useful features and avoid their cons if possible.
1- Native 2D Sprite function support (animated/static images)
this might be useful to render the effects instead of using real time particles.
2- We can start a blank project with plain ground instead of terrains.
many fps game don't require to have terrain, just like the old school FPS or the Liner Games.
3- Creating Basic 3D Shapes:
(like unity3d, with the ability to texturing them)
4- OpenGL support for cross-platform and high performance.
Supporting Game Consoles and Mobile, useful for commercial projects.
5- 2D Layout / Scenes Editor for menus
this really give us a huge personal twist when we want to develop our games.
6- Visual Scripting System:
for huge user base.
7- everything should be easy to modify ,to change and to replace:
give the developers more control.
8- GORE / Blood support:
like fallout and RAGE game.
9- Weapons Generator System:
check this thread:

10- Fast Loading and Compiled Project at the end:
the loading with FPS-Creator not good, taking long time, i think improving this side should have the priority.
11- insects, fishes and birds:
to bring life to our games
That's all for now
