What I want: is a little edit button in the corner of any post you post, or a least the thread post that allows you to edit your message and then re-upload it.(It would be great if you were able to also change the subject text for the thread via the edit button)

This would make it easier to fix mistakes you later see, or to change something. It would also make it easier for people to follow WIP as Updates currently have to be new posts.

Such a feature would allow Changelogs(Update) for games people are working on, in the forum. The ability to fix mistakes, etc.

Still can't do this though. I would like this feature as well.

That feature most likely won't be added it opens the forums to abuse and confuses users when threads change names too often, I don't want to have to give the mods a larger job policing that.

I must be missing something because I can't seem to find it anywhere, I took a screen shot of my current suggestion post, can you guys see the edit button, because I can't?

Weird. Perhaps something is up with your browser?

I'm currently using Firefox browser, could this be the reason? I don't think so, but... Alternatively could it have something to do with my cookie settings? or could it have something to do with my Java?

I can't see any reason it wouldn't be there it is just a standard HTML button, can you try another browser and see if it pops up.

Update:

tried reloging in, didn't fix anything.



Update 2:

turned off all my plugins, didn't work



Update 3: updated Java and turned off all extensions in Firefox. It didn't work.
