When I select the windows IE from the start screen and go to the reloaded forum and check post that contain user videos, the posts do not display a video just a blank box with an x in the upper corner. If I click on the 3 dots at the bottom right of the start screen and select view in desktop the video will display but only because the IE is now running in the desktop not the start screen.

I am positive that I used to be able to view video in the IE from the start menu. Why video in the desktop version of windows 8.1 but no longer any forum video in the windows 8.1 start screen version of the IE.

Is it that the forum is not setup to display video in the start screen any more?

This is not a site bug and is probably something stupid to do with modern UI version of IE in Windows 8.

Not anything I can do the videos are standard YouTube player videos so should work fine.

Thanks for the input. I was not really suggesting that was a forum problem but was wondering if other forum users had the same problem with the windows 8.1 IE. If not then I need to talk Microsoft (Wish me luck on that approach).
