I am suddenly getting sporadic failures for notifications on threads I am following. I occasionally get notified, but more often than not no notification is being sent. This just starting happening yesterday.

System Specs: OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 945, 3.0Ghz, RAM - 8Gb DDR3, GFX Card - 2048MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, FPSC-R Version - Beta 1.0071

I know about bugs in the system I haven't yet had time to fix I am afraid, sorry about the issues

This one is still occurring so I thought I'd add a comment to see if you have any update. I seem to receive about 20% of the notifications to threads I'm tracking. I still have to scour the forums most of the time to see if there are responses because most notifications aren't getting through.

It would be really good to have a fix on this, because I can't even remember half the threads I'd usually be following.

Is it a case of they never arrive or that they are going into spam and you just don't notice?

I just saw this response 21 days late because I never received a notification and the issue is really bugging me lately. Nothing is going into spam for me (I don't have a spam folder for it to go to anyway) and most notifications just never get to me at all. I get maybe a few each day for various threads, but many other threads never give me a notification. It can even happen that one thread sends out a notification once and then I don't see another notification from that thread ever again. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. And it used to work flawlessly.

Just posting on this thread again because this issue has never been fixed. I get 1 or 2 notifications of forum threads every few days or so, but certainly not anywhere near the amount I should be getting considering all the threads I'm following.

Also, if would be nice to get notifications on PMs someday as well.

This is something I want to take a look at over the coming months.

The focus for me at the moment is...

- New front end for the TGC Store, which is almost done.
- More sellers area changes to go live
- Then the forum fixes, there will be a big push for these in a few weeks time if all goes to plan. Until then I am afraid not much will change as the forum system is broken in that regard.

So far the new notification system seems to be working good. I like the fact that you can read the replies within the e-mail without even having to go to the forums. Nice work.

Great BB tags should be correctly parsed in emails at some point as well, they look a bit ugly at the moment
