Most be some pure black in there or there is an alpha channel. Flatten the image with a white back ground and see if that fixes it. Or remove the alpha channel from the layer and try to export it again.

But My question is why you would need such a big map with out transparency? Do you have something up your sleeve?

idk if you have the same problem, but when using DXT5 with the nvidia photoshop plugin, it makes everything look similar to that because it wraps the texture pieces around the uv shell instead of over them resulting in a bunch of transparency...again idk if the same problem, but I simply switched to DXT1 and no further issues.

@jtownsend1190 if i use DXT1 you see the black masking

I downloaded it and looked at it in wtv.exe, which is a dds, viewer that shows the info as well. Purple or magenta is the color that shows thru due to alpha channel. So where the purple is, was that your intent?

Is this supposed to be like an overlay?

Try transparency setting of 5 or 6 and see if that helps.

If you're not using any alpha at all (or just 1 bit alpha), DXT1 has twice the compression.

Set your transparency mode in the FPE to 5 which will put the semi-transparent entity in FRONT of solid regular entities (after the depth sort).
