I did a search, didn't find this posted anywhere.
The lights are generally lacking, being a cylinder that casts no shadows.

Here are my recommended improvements to the light system:

Lights__

-Point lights
--Edit brightness, colour, angle, shape, aspect ratio, enable shadows, edit shadow/light decay

-Sphere lights
--Edit brightness, colour, aspect ratio, enable shadows, edit shadow/light decay

-Skylight
--Edit brightness, colour, angle, enable shadows, edit shadow decay

Lighting effects__

-Dynamic shadows
--Edit shadow density, colour, resolution min-max, shadow distance/effect distance, exclude/include objects

-Godrays
--Edit density, intensity, colour(s), angle, cone, select objects godrays can and cannot pass through/edit percentage of godrays able to pass through object (think fabrics)
Now ofcourse, this would be most easily accomplished were there a rotatable camera in the editor, but i believe that has already been brought up

-Lens effects
--Glares, bloom, streaks, apply texture to camera ( i.e grit seen in most current engines (Frostbite-UDK-Unity)

-Flickering
--Edit flickering pattern, colour, brightness, flicker speed, etc...

-Shadow maps
--Apply a texture map as your shadow (i.e have a flashlight cast a smiley face shadow by using a transparent smiley face texture)

I feel my ideas fell short as I filled them in, and I know I'm missing some things. So I'll update this as I remember.

Light are very much still work in progress, and in many ways could result in a dedicated beta in itself. These are all good suggestions and we will be looking at lighting at some point.

Someone did this for FPSC Classic and it looked amazing. Would love to see this in Reloaded.
