Hi ,
a point just came to my mind when I saw the uploaded picture
of all the different levels that people have done so far.
The first thing that came to mind was that some appear very dark
and others appear very light.
So it would seem that we do not all have our monitor screens set
to a standard level of light---color---gamma--and contrast and so
when we upload our pictures or even later when we start to let others play our games ,
even though they may LOOK perfect on our screen at home , when others see or play them
they might appear much darker or lighter than we had intended and so it would be good to use
a monitor screen adjustment program to have this all set correctly before we get too involved
in our game and then find out its to dark or light for others to play with the mood we were trying to develop with the light levels we thought were normal.
I hope I'm explaining this in a way that all can understand...I'm sure Lee or others here
know what I'm talking about and can possibly explain it better.
thx
and let me know your thinking on this subject
see my example pic in the gallery ( Castle Breach ).....looks way to dark on my comp at work but at home looked fine.
