Im using crazybump to do my UV,s which look great but im finding in reloaded if I set then entities to highest its to shiny ( not just my own models )
Is it because reloaded isn't quite right yet or can anyone tell me whats best to tone the shine down a bit ?

Thanks in advance

The 'shine' is caused by your specular map (_S). Light sections tell the shader that they are more reflective, whereas darker areas tell the shader that they are not reflective or matte.

I would recommend taking a look at your spec map. If you feel its too bright, simply take it into Gimp or photoshop and decrease the overall brightness.

Another reason why people tend to have shiney or sometimes 'wet' looking models is down to the normal map being too intense.

Cheers

Jay.

@Jay

Sorted thanks mate...
Its like you said the Spec map so I just had to play with brightness and contrast a little till it did not look over exaggerated in reloaded
