Within the last 10 hours or so, when I reply to a post that I have email turned on for, that I am the originator, My post are being emailed to me as well as the other poster in the thread.



And the body text is not showing up in the email anymore.



Anybody else seeing this?

Yeah, I get the same, plus all the emails are blank. Oh and a "\" gets added whenever I write apostrophes e.g.: I'm.

The other forum's had that apostrophy slash error since I've joined it.

Haha! What happens is - it appears when you edit. Actually it may wait until your second edit before it appears. But once it does, if you make multiple edits, then "it'll" look something like this (it adds one for each edit):

I reported this a while ago and The Next responded as follows:

One other thing... When I receive an email notification of thread activity, the link takes me to the start of the thread (top of the first page), instead of to the post being referenced.

All seen and noted guys, the slash issue is due to a server change and the settings where all altered it has been in the pipeline to fix for a while but the forum code is quite old and it takes a while to track down each occurrence of this issue.

The PM system is getting a makeover soon to improve that and fix the slash issues there. After that the email bug will be fixed and I will fix the slash issues in that and in the normal posts.
