3rd Party Models/Media Chat / Getting objects to float on water

I am trying to get my landing craft into this engine but I can seem to get it to work properly, everytime I place it it appears under water. Is there a trick to this ?

Yep !!

Right click on it and make it "Dynamic"
Then it will float

Damn, I spent hours trying to get it to float and never realised you could right click on the object

you can also set it in the fpe file as well

I can't see Dynamic as an option in the properties list
would that be the same as selecting No to Static mode?

Yep that's it....Sorry I could have explained better but I was assuming most know there is a static and dynamic mode..
Select no and it turns dynamic

All you have to do is right click on a model, press 'Y' then left click. TaDa. Instant dynamicnessism.

Thats a real word right
