I'm tearing my hair...

Using Blender v2.70 and FPSCR 1.007.
I can't get a simple cube with a hole in it to work in FPSCR.
In Blender I create a simple cube, then a cylinder to get a hole in the cube (boolean function). It all looks great in Blender. But in FPSCR 1.007 I see no hole. Seems like there is texture all over the cube and no hole.

What I recall I did not have these kind this problems in older versions of Blender and FPSC.
Am I missing something basic here or is there some kind of bugg in Blender v2.70(DirectX export?) or in FPSCR 1.007?

Very thankful fo any kind of help

A LOT of people (including myself) have had trouble with 2.70. I personally have stepped back to 2.69 as the exporter in that version is perfect.

The exporter in 2.70 seems to be bugged. you need to change the settings for each model and need to test it in various software to see how it looks.

My advice, step back and enjoy pain free exporting.

Cheers

Jay.

All pain is gone - Happy

Hope they had fix the buggs in the upcoming v2.71.

Is it possible to make a sophisticated model in Blender and Gimp an get it into FPS with one's own painted scenery? Ive tried for weeks now with no success. I saw the post about Blender 2.7 and downloaded 2.7, that helps. I'm wondering if its me a\or do I need to wait for the development Kit?

All the effects of grandeur possible with paint
