Don't mean squat, in direct x.
How it looks in the Rendering software and how it looks in the game engine are two different situations.
It is how the textures are handles in the shader, that will make the model look good in game. Everything looks fantastic in 3d max, but as soon as you get it to the engine, then you better have some good textures to go with a decent shader to make them look even remotely as good.
Models made in a free program can look just as good as an expensive ones, with a great texture.
But more important is they say you cant do anything but play with the program. So it is just a novelty, and not conducive to game making in this engine or any other.
