With the forum upgrade, the e-mail notification system isn't working correctly. There are 2 issues:

1. I now get notifications of my own posts, which I don't need.
2. Notifications not longer include the message that others posted. I now have to go to the actual post to see the message.

System Specs: OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 945, 3.0Ghz, RAM - 8Gb DDR3, GFX Card - 2048MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, FPSC-R Version - Beta 1.007

Any word on getting this fixed? I'm still getting notifications of my own posts and notifications still no longer contain the message.

So far, no. The notification still doesn't have the reply message in it. As soon as I post this I'll know if I still get notifications of my own messages. I'll report back as soon as I know.

OK, so it looks like I am no longer getting notifications of my own posts, but notifications still no longer show the message that was posted. That was very convenient to be able to read the message in the notification without going to the forum. The only time I want to go to the forum is if I want to respond to it.

Is it possible to make the link in the emails actually go to the post it refers to, not just the thread? It can get confusing of there are a lot of posts/pages.

It would also be good to only allow replies to the last page of the thread, so I don't keep posting without noticing there's are 1+ more pages! I know the old forums do this.

Agreed. And just FYI, Sparrowhawk's post actually showed up in the notification so that part is fixed now. It did show triple slash character's though whenever there was a contraction.

Yes the issue appears to be fixed, the slash issue is a bigger problem related to the server, that probably won't be fixed for a while so we will just need to deal with that for now.

I want to change where the link goes too don't worry I will do that at a later date. As well as the showing the post box only on the last page.

Also, is there any way that we can get notifications if we receive a new private message?
