I was testing out the desert pack with v1.007 and getting into the old "New Mexico" frame of mind, when a piece of incidental music from a film popped into my head.

So, I decided to write it up in CakeWalk Sonar X2 and stick it into the level.

Can anyone guess the film?

Clue: This film maker usually writes all of his own music for his films (his flicks are usually of the scary kind)!

By the way Lee and Co. Great job on 1.007!

Well, I can guess it's John Carpenter. But the actual film completely eludes me. Perhaps the clue has biased me and I am just assuming. Certainly not one of his well known ones that I can tell. I'm probably wrong. Can't think of anyone else who writes his own music and does scary stuff! Perhaps Vampires, but in honesty I don't recall that tune in it, so I am at a loss.

Yup!

It was a 4 bar phrase in Vampires! It only got played once in the film if I recall correctly.

Around about the part where they arrive at the deserted town.

I dont have a slide guitar though... which this piece kinda needs

Ah cool! I'm good at remembering film tunes and stuff for some reason. Seems the guess was good!
