What is the best screen recorded that will work with Windows 64 bit? I've tried Fraps but that doesn't seem to work at all, I've tried EZ Screen Recorder 64Bit but it's extremely jerky and doesn't record sound.

What do you guys use?

Give dxtory a go I use that a lot and it works great, and almost no frame rate drop.

Also with your graphics card I think you can use nVidia shadow play, which will give you not frame drops at all as it takes the footage right from your cards buffer.

Grrr... Shadow Play doesn't work with Reloaded. I'll try Dxtory.

I use fraps on 64bit

EDIT: Sorry was so short a reply i was using my phone there, anyway i am using FRAPS for almost all my recording with windows 7 64bit and have never had a problem, EZVID it is possible to record sounds but it is also just terrible (my personal opinion) but i do use it when iwant to capture everything in the screen.

Only problem i have with FRAPS is it will only record in the game meaning you cant make examples of how to do something video's with it. I think Unfamillia's Tutorial thread in there somewhere he mentions what he uses but i've forgotten what it is, anyway hope that helps

PC Specs: Windows 7 home 64-bit, Amd 7900 3gb DDR5 graphics, 8gb DDR3 Ram, Intel i7 3.4ghz

I can safely say don't bother downloading CamStudio, it seems to record a pixelated frame every 5 seconds. Been looking for one that provides a free version without watermarking, so I'll try those here

Custom Mac Pro (2014): OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) and Windows 8.1 Pro: Octa-threaded Xeon E5 v2 @ 3.7Ghz [9775]; Dual AMD FirePro D500 (3GB VRAM Each) [3769]; 12GB RAM [2517]; 512GB SSD [9074];

At the detected score [passmark 9074], my SSD is ranked 3rd of all SSD's in the charts

OBS seems a good app, although I haven't used it myself as yet. Shadowplay works with Reloaded, you just have to set it correctly. New updates have made my 660 compatible, which I am sure it wasn't before. Either set Shadowplay to grab the desktop, or set reloaded to use full screen. It kills my frap performance dead in comparison, as does OBS apparently. OBS sounds good as it does not seem to have the 20 min max, but seems to use similar methods for capture. I mess around a fair bit with video capture for my youtube channel so tend to know this stuff Hopefully this will help you out.

SPECS: Q6600 CPU. Nvidia 260GTX. 8 Gig Memory. Win 7.

I use FastStoneCapture. It has tonnes of features and lets you set which area you want to record. Saves as small file sizes and records at 1080p.

You also get a moths free trial to test it (fully featured) then, if you like it, (as I did) its only $15.99 to buy the full version.
