I am VERY frustrated. I am creating my contest entry and have a REALLY good level. It worked perfectly and reasonably smooth. I was able to build and run it with no problems. Then, I added a rock and it refused to build and run. I deleted the rock and it still refused to build and run.

I rebooted my computer and ran FPS Creator Reloaded (as admin) and it still does not run. Here's the kicker: I saved a backup of the level before I added the rock and it, too, refuses to run.

What can I do? I really don't want to re-start creating this level. The amount of work, sculpting and level building is huge and I really don't think I can make it any better that I have.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there a fix?

Try reinstalling FPSC-R and see if that fixes the problem. You're welcomed

I figured it out. There was one or two incompatible entities from one of my packs that refused to work with FPSCR and when I removed all entities and then laid them back in one at a time, I found the two culprits. Removing them and then populating with the ones I know do work allowed me to re-create the level without having to resculpt.

The remove entities and then save the level trick worked like a charm.

I'm glad to know you've fixed this. We're looking forward to reviewing all of the competition entries.

I am VERY excited over this project. So far, the beach/tropical section is really coming together with good visuals and a cool storyline provided by my 13 year old son.
