Below is a video showing you how to create a modern(ish) bed I am not teaching uv mapping and custom textures so only material and color assignment nor am I teaching how to use tools like curvature editing and relax brush / sculpt modeling tool. This is for people that have no idea where to start with 3d modeling and would like to jump right in. Let me know what you think and if it helps. I will bring more soon.

a good start mate but you really need to look into uvw mapping if you want to model for games

That may come in a further video, but as stated this is for people that just want to jump in, I am not teaching in the above video anything with uv mapping, curviture, or the sculpt modeling brush sets.
