Feature Creep / support for .obj, .fbx or even .blend in future iterations?

Would it be possible to have multi file support in a future FPSCR iteration? the sole .x file support is causing more problems than anything else in terms of creating user created content as far as i can see.

Perhaps, some thing they could check, However that said each and every format has it's own set of problems.It is not so much the engine causing the problem as the software you are using, the fact that lots of people use blender and 3ds, softimage and numerous paid or free software, and don't have problems with exporting to and from FPSC, to point out users have issues indirectly related to the file format.



To point out, it is mostly as a result of user error and not that of the software.Thought x files have some limitation, it is also the most widely used format, and the engine is fine tune for the format, opening the door for other file formats, just isn't on.
