Feature Creep / C++ Developer SDK

I would love to see a C++ SDK that would allow experienced programmers to extend FPSCR. This should allow some clean access to the DirectX pipeline so we can create our own 3D code for doing anything our hearts desire.

Well, this is something pretty common in most game engines on the market. And based on their vision statement:



"Our vision is to produce The Ultimate FPS Game Creator for the PC - the defacto standard by which all other game making products will be compared. A solution that is easier, more powerful, affordable and flexible than any of its competitors. A product grounded and shaped by the community that gives it life."



How can they not include it?

@tomjscott well presented. I think eventually this should be the case, but of course right now it would not be.
