Nice work, I have been giving more thought to performance when creating this kind of thing, giving me a brain fart trying to work out whether or not it might be worth slicing terrains up and using LOD or whatever. Would help with texture resolution too, tiling is fine but gets more obviously repetitive over such large models.

Probably best bet would be to mix it up with Reloaded terrain, it looks a lot better with larger terrain entities mixed in rather than a few small rocks doesn't it

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum...

What about painting grass on your custom terrain? I wouldn't think would be possible either.

Yea grass is possible it is done by putting it on the ground under and change the grass height and it simply comes through looking like it is on the custom one.

Hmmm. I might have to experiment with this a little. I have some other terrain editing tools that might let me do some very specific things that I am not able to with reloaded just yet.
