Product Chat / Explosive Barrels?

This may not be a bug, but rather a feature not in beta yet so I'm just asking here. Are explosive barrels supposed to explode yet? I blast them with an Uzi and still nothing.

Barrels do not explode yet. We don't even have explosions in the engine right now, nor do we have any projectiles such as grenades, missiles or mines.

PC SPECS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core i7 920 (PASSMARK:5008), NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT GPU (PASSMARK:752) , 6GB RAM

Looks like a lot of things still not in the current beta. Not trying to sound like a complainer because I know you are doing your best and things are coming along nicely. It's just like I said in the other thread, I had just assumed that basic stuff from previous versions would have been in by this stage already.



While not trying to sound upset or anything, I do think that maybe this version of the engine should be considered alpha instead of beta. As I have always understood, beta is supposed to be feature complete where alpha would be builds with missing features.
