After much heartache and pain,

I finally worked out how to make FPSCR entities.

A stone bridge here for your use.

I have downloaded the media from the website and it looks identical, do you own the rights to this media?

In the meantime I have hidden the download from your post and unless I hear back from you a warning will be issued to you account.

At least he didn't say that he was the author of the model. Good point I guess. ^^

It does also state on that other website that the model can only be used for personal projects.

So, if anyone did download it, I would advise adhering to the licence.

Cheers

Jay.

The claim is this item was used with permission from the original artist, therefore I will not be giving a warning this time but will leave the download hidden unless the artist re-uploads with evidence of permission.

This would call into question all your other free media. I would caution anyone that has downloaded anything this member has uploaded.

Which leaves it open to abuse, from here on in I would suggest a rule for postng media around here.

It should be clearly stated by the poster whether they made ALL content themselves and what their license terms are, if not then clearly stated where it came from and the license permissions posted in the thread so users don't put it into their games unknowingly.

Two reasons for this, I don't want to use something and the poster can turn round later and say they never intended it for commercial use. If your not the original creator it won't help the user if they say they were told third party permission was given without this in writing from the original author.

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum...

Just so people are clear. The content is not stolen. The uploaded model was mine. I built the bridge off a blueprint/reference image.

The blueprint/reference image for the bridge was made back in 2003 by a graphics artist Michael Maddy.

The texture is a free to use, made by the same artist.

I am not in the business of stealing peoples work or claiming credit for something I haven't done.

The model found here

http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/stone-bridge-37857.html

Is content being abused. A formal inquiry was initiated on that website as there is much content on there that does no give credit where due.

So just for clarification.

The original developer of this bridge is Michael Maddy.

He released the reference image as a 'free to use' at a tafe lecture.

He also released the texture as a 'free to use'.

My mistake was not to credit Michael Maddy, as the bridge was built off his blueprint.

Sorry if anyone got the wrong idea here.

No one has accused anyone of anything, I simply want it tightened up around here concerning license.

Whoever released that may have used the same blueprint you have, might even have been Michael Maddy himself for all I know
