@LeeBamber:

Fantastic idea !! To be fair I found the Chugshot to be pretty much perfect although not Graphically as impressive as it was in X10 as far as the shaders go but still very acceptable..

Perhaps you could tweak it a little having the know

files sent also fixed the ammo you can now collect and it adds it to the ammo count

I added a little airmod to give it a little bit of kick

I'm thinking rather than a full blown nuke, something like the fatman from Fallout.

Stupid question time-

In regards to Classic FPSC how do i update?

There is nothing prompting about any updates and no option to check for any. Remember i have a shop bought copy, not one from the website. Don't know if that matters.

tommy8 if my memory serves me correctly I believe you have to click on the help menu and it should say 'check for updates' but I could be wrong as its been so long since I used it. but just to inform you I also have a boxed edition which was what TGC sent out when it was first released many years ago!! lol

yes well i have discovered since those problems that the autoslug and mp40 do work (albeit somewhat glitchilly - is that even a word?) so why the blaster is continuing to fail to register is surely a mystery.

I can probably live without the blaster anyway, its one of those cheesy 1950's sci fi ray guns that don't feature prominently in my game ideas.

If all else fails, I'll just wait for an official conversion or next best equivalency from the store.

I just downloaded the free version here ..

http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2001&page=free

I have no idea what the restrictions are...It let me update to X9 and build a standalone game..... But even that is better than what you have there ?

Give this a try.

I found your problem....Don't know how but it looks like you have the same as the old online version by the looks of it..

I purchased FPS Creator X10 from TCG a few months back ( Ye I know I couldn't have cuz they stopped production ages ago but I begged and paid and they did )

They also popped an fps creater online.exe in my account ( to fill a gap I guess ) but I just installed it and that looks exactly what you have ?

Or its a very very old one when Lee was about 5 years old

V1.0 with no update Tab ?

it begs the question, does this mean that when the hard copy of FPSCR reaches our mitts it will have similar problems?

Absolutly not...FPS Creator is about six years old. I reckon you have a very old version...

But you have a serial right ?

Pm a mod or TGC and if they can confirm your number perhaps they can sort you out with a more up to date version..

You have got me playing the bloody thing now !!!

All my packs are going back on ...Sigh !!

Agreed !!

That's why I wanted to get some weapons and characters added .. Looks like the chugshots definite and the horror pack will be a big boost.

If we can get some diverse stuff in then maybe all the models wont be warfare and medieval as they seem to be...Is anyone building an alien base or something different...

Don't get me wrong the screenies look stunning but they also look so similar.

Im going to gave to get into this modelling so I can get whats in my head out into a game

Anyone any idea how to make the FPSC prefabs FPSCR ready? Would love to be able to use the sci fi and ww2 interiors.

Then i can finally build an underground nazi space base, on Mars.

I attempted uninstalling my shop bought version of FPSC and installing the free one from the internet and far from making the blaster usable; it even made things worse. Some of the weapons went from being usable to not being usable at all; and on top of that it even interfered with the FPSCR stock assets so i couldnt use those at all.

What i would prefer (and think would be better) is rather than making fpsc assets fpscr ready is someone to do a series of tutorials on how to make user created weapons fpscr ready.

"Anyone any idea how to make the FPSC prefabs FPSCR ready?"

Unfortunately, those prefabs are made of FPSC segments, which won't work in Reloaded. (Actually, they could be made to, but the effort made to do so would be way more than just making them again from scratch to begin with!) It's not the same as working with the entities by any measure. The upcoming conkit will hopefully allow us to something along those same lines!

Edit: And yes, glitchilly is a word; I mean, at least now it is!

For those who don't want to step back six years in time to re-install Classic/X10, I have tweaked the CHUGSHOT weapon kindly donated and renamed it to Futuretech Shotgun and will be used as the template to show artists how to create and upload a weapon for the Game Creator Store. As part of this process, the new futuristic weapon will be uploaded to the Store as a free item so you can download and start blasting stuff. It might take some time though as the Store guy has five other priority tasks to get through (including juicy Zombies)

LOL, the river is there under the trees! (I should have made my hill a little taller for the picture!) I was just trying to see how many characters I could put in without it crashing. I forget how many I had but it was somewhere between 150-200. I'm sure TattieBojangle could cut them all down with a couple passes of his super weapons!
