This looks incredible and I was already aware of what WOI was planning so I kept away from posting to avoid accidently giving any clues.

@Slaur3n ... Isometric view is already available in GameGuru but this will be the first content available created for this purpose

Thanks guys.

It's getting there, infinitely more complex areas can be build, this is a simple mash up level, for testing purposes.

Some more little trims, like floor border, as well as adding a couple of reliefs, looking as adding some relief borders to the top of the wall.

Can you lock off the camera so as not to "dip down" when going under archways?

@MadLad Designs

It's a simple flag that lee needs to add, not sure when it will be added, but it is sooner then later, in the mean time normal 3rd person mode will work.

Seems like Lee has taken up the challenge.

Lee wrote: "Thanks to the work of an artist creating plenty headway in this genre, I was encouraged to help add a new feature which disables this behaviour when the camera settings are configured for top-down isometric gameplay."

@MadLad Designs

Actually I approached the team asking if they would have issue with creating isometric content, they leaped at the opportunity to bring in another genre, they definitely want 2016 to be about other game types that can be created as well.

Lee mentioned the clipping is a simple flag to add, minor fix and no effort. Definitely feel at home creating isometric content, it is so much fun and different, and will likely be spending the rest of the year creating isometric content and promote isometric gameplay, It is refreshing to say the least.

Some screens to drool over, adding the finishing touches, still got a bunch of goodies to add, but it is a lot more complete and rounded off..

All we need now is someway to indicate where the player is when hidden behind terrain.

Not too worry, we have that covered.But that will happen when we get to isometric on the feature list.We already bounced ideas around on how to deal with that.So definitely have that planned out, it is also the reason why isometric content has been released and with more on the way we have the content for that, and have some idea of pitfalls and what we need to look at in order to get it done.

I am working on another special little project, to push the envelope yet again, more to come about that, but it will be another set of unique content In the mean time I am adding some more content to this pack and making some new stuff for a companion pack.

Actually they would like to avoid that it will be messy. what we have come up with is "ghosting" AI and the player.

Bit troublesome if you have to work with the grid system.

Any ways just wanted to upload this 10 minute vid showcasing the easy use of entities, as it will be bit of a learning curve.

ah not only me with the old traps of the dungeons and nice original doors. of many types i had one with 4 direction parts etc. i gave up as got ridiculous. in a while i will be adding more traps to mine but i am seeing what you bring out first no point making whats done unless i have my own spin and will not be repeatable. p.s love the pillars

3rd person and isometric only, I am looking at adding roof parts to make it ready for FSP as well, but this is currently isometric as that is the focus of the content.

Slightly more complex different timings with some spike traps, just two more traps left then onto the scripts for the bad boys...
