Even though I'm still developing a project with FPSCx9, I'm going to back Reloaded. Here is my system spec, Will this thing run or should I wait till I build a new PC? AMD Athlon II P340 Dual-Core Processor 2.20ghz 3.00gb 64bit win 7 ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. Thank you.

Hi,

I think your card may have problems, although Lee is working hard to target performance (and has made some great improvements internally), a lot of intergrated cards struggle with high-end processing. You may be able to run Reloaded on the very lowest settings.

As a guide, you can use this list. The score in the first numeric column is the one you want. With the current Beta of Reloaded a card rated 2000+ is required to run on full settings, with lower rated cards running on lower settings.

As a guide, the integrated card currently being used as a bench mark is the Intel HD 5000 which is rated 591, and can run the internal version of Reloaded at 60fps on lowest settings. So currently, this is what users can currently expect from the next Beta. Performance work is still going on, with the whole development team committed to ensuring the engine will run on a wide as possible ranges of cards and machines, so it's very possible that more improvements will be made.

I hope that helps.

Hello

I wasn't sure if it would run on my machine at first but I took the plunge. My card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 and it runs the program ok.

I don't get the FPS that a lot of the people on here seem to get but the only problem I have had so far is with my AntiVirus interfering with the program (I have changed it since).

I have tried it on the lower settings and the higher settings and it seems to cope fine.

Hope this helps

I've got something to say

Yes. Thank you very much! Your help has been great. I will have to invest in a new chip & video card as well. It's time for a fresh new start with an open mind. With that said, Time to get back to work on the X9 version of this new project. FPSCx9 is still hugely in demand and we don't want to just give up on it without a fight. Again thank you very much.

Yes indeed performance work continues a pace, as indeed the other core elements thanks to Simon and Ravey. Good luck with your X9 project. Reloaded will be ready for you when you decide to 'go outside'

PC SPECS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core i7 920, NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT GPU, 6GB RAM
