Yes you can have up to four influencing dynamic lights for every pixel on the screen using the highest shader mode in Reloaded. You do not get the dynamic shadow casting based on these point lights, but from a fifth directional light source (usually the sun) for your shadows and a general directional lighting term too. The sun position (ergo light casting position) can be changed in the sky settings file, but this will be moved to an object in game which you can move about more easily with the mouse.

This all raises more questions, if the primary light source for shadow casting is to continue to be the sun then indoor scenes are impossible. If you try placing an object inside a building for instance with a light, I don't see any shadows cast from that object at all not even the primary light source, ceilings turn out black and opposite walls receive sunlight when they shouldn't.

I don't know about Beta 1.005 but in previous versions it did nothing to change the light direction in Skyspecs, in fact the sun rotation actually rotated the skybox and sun position was fixed exactly where it was. This may be different now but not seen any kind of info to that effect.

For the indoor shadows you describe, you will want single or six sided shadow projection from a dynamic light source. I can add this, but it would be at a performance cost and right now my brain is performance x 3
