Saw synchromesh's comment on multi-textures.
Was not sure how one controls the placement of the textures and model from 3D World, as I thought that textures for Reloaded models had to be in .DDS format.
There is a way to use several (2-6 or more) textures on a single model using MilkShape. In MilkShape you can edit a model and organize the different faces of the model into groups based upon which texture is to be applied. You then create a .DDS file (I use Photoshop) in which the different textures are structured into a single file.
Back in MilkShape you create a texture using the .DDS file, and apply the texture to each of the groups of faces. Then, group by group you assign each group to the correct texture using a cool tool called the Texture Coordinate Editor.
When all of the groups have been assigned and edited, you export the model out of MilkShape in .X format, save it to an Entity folder, create a new FPE file for that model and the .DDS texture, and if all works there is your model in Reloaded with all the textures in place.
MilkShape can import many different types of models except .X (which it can export). Or you can create 3D models from scratch. Not bad for a $35 program.

Milkshape CAN import .x files using the Direct x mesh tools under "Tools". It just won't import animations!

That's why you use Fragmotion to import .x files and then export them as a milkshape file.
