Does anyone know of any decent text to speech software, preferably with accents , male and female, that is passable and won't break the bank?



It is a real nuisance having to find voice actors, I'm surprised no-one has thought of a way around this problem.



Or even if something along these lines could be included in a future FPSCR build, that would be all sorts of awesome.

Hmmm Wrong way round mk83...That's speech to text



Windows 7 text to speech is pretty realistic...Built in and free and I think you can add more voices...If of course you can find a way to record it from the Desktop ...Dunno if that helps

Look into MorphVox Pro. There's a plug in sold separate that you can read a script and assign voices to it.
