Hi all. I just want to suggest where to look for ideas for cutscene editor. If anyone knows czech game Operation Flashpoint Cold war crisis, then you will know how easy was to make cutscene in mission editor. You just added switch, where you pick angle of camera, distance, zoom in, zoom out, fade, which of entity activates it, subtitles and everything else. Also in OFP editor were really good things. I reccomend you to try this game and its editor...yeah.. game was buggy and low graphics, but it was also perfect open world war simulator with many vehicles to drive, also planes and helis. Try it and then you will see what I am talking about. So how about making something similiar to that? Thx

Cutscenes are on every modern game and FPSC:R should support this.

Agreed. A cutscene creation tool is a must!

Having a built-in cutscene creator would save

many aspiring gamemakers, (like myself,)

a lot of time and energy that would otherwise

be spent using external modelling and animation softwares.

Please, please add this feature, FPS!

Despite there not being a cutscene editor, does Reloaded have the ability to play videos yet? I can certainly create animated cutscenes myself, but if reloaded doesn't play them yet then no sense in doing that.

Just a point to bring up about "cut scenes", in the world of VR, which we are standing on good ground to appeal to is right around the corner. Making games having VR in the back of your mind might prove useful. IT is highly recommended never to snatch away the camera from a user in VR. I am not saying we should not do cut scenes, because not every game is for VR, I am just saying that as a standard cut scenes are not recommended in VR. This might be one of those times where what you are used to, is no longer what you should do....Anyway just wanted to get that out there for anyone that might have been thinking about eventually supporting VR.

Agreed, a cutscene zone that allows us to change the camera angles and things would be so amazing.
