I noticed that in the lvlbank folder that when you play the game

it creates a height map is there any chance that we could add the ability

to import and export height maps from the editor

From this months newsletter -

Quote: "Rikard Edenborg asks: "Will we be able to export everything we make in fpscr concerning environments? Terrain, heightmaps and buildings (objects/meshes) we make with the builder system?"

Lee:

"No, not initially. You will only be able to share and sell finished levels and games from the product. Elite coders will no doubt find a way to tap into the underlying engine files and find a way to reconstruct the scenes outside of the main engine, and we would encourage alternative uses of the content (providing it does not breach any imposed restrictions of the software or rights of the artists).""

After I've explored and played with Reloaded enough I plan on writing some utilities that work with the engine files. This is one thing I was interested in doing. I only just got the thing last night and I'm already itching to write some tools to work with the files.
